Dear Alumni Association,

I would like to extend another thank you for granting me this scholarship four years ago. Since then, I have graduated Summa Cum Laude from Elon University with a degree in Sport Management as well as minors in Communications and Business Administration. During my time at Elon, I was fortunate to have learned and experienced so much and I could not imagine a better school or environment for me to attend.

Before attending Elon, I had dreams of working in the NFL. However, the planning process to do that changed a few times. When I last wrote to you, I was studying broadcast journalism with hopes of being a Sports Journalist. Since then, I have found passion elsewhere in football and decided to adjust my path. My journey began freshman year when I started working for Elon’s football program. I primarily worked in operations, planning travel and coordinating logistics, as well as working video and equipment when needed. Sophomore year, I was lucky enough to travel with the team and learn a different aspect of the program. I built a foundation and better understanding for how a football program is run and everything that goes into a successful season.

Following sophomore year, I was offered an internship position with the Cleveland Browns working in Operations and Logistics for Summer training camp. I used the skills I learned at Elon on a greater scale for a much larger program. I was also fortunate enough to be asked to return for a second summer.

This was a once in a life time experience and I am so grateful for it. None of this would have been possible without my experience at Elon.

I cannot thank you enough for trusting me and my efforts to have gifted me this scholarship and have supported the path I was able to pave. I am happy to say that I have found employment in my area of interest.

Thank you again,

Chloe Hach
