In 1996 the first group of athletes and coaches were inducted into the Riverside Hall of Fame. Since that beginning, the athletic division of the Hall of Fame now is home to 26 athletes and eight coaches. The history of athletics on the secondary level in this country has changed over the years and the potential for achievement has increased. James Hido James Hido, RHS Class of 2003, is a new alumni board member. After serving five years in the United States Marine Corps and traveling and fighting extensively overseas, he was honorably discharged and returned home to Northeast Ohio.
