Hall of Fame – Alumni Category

The Hall of Fame was started in 1996 when a small group of athletes and coaches were inducted. The following year the alumni category was added and outstanding graduates were recognized for their achievements following high school. Among the inductees are graduates who have started their own businesses, people who have been recognized in music and the arts, authors, graduates who have moved up the ranks in the military, medical doctors who specialize, veterinarians who also specialize, educators, lawyers, judges, and graduates who have contributed time and materials to the school district.

Terry Hamilton, Class of 1979, has made a name for himself as a realtor in a very famous part of Florida known as The Villages.

Do you know a Riverside graduate who has excelled in his or her chosen career or continues to work behind the scenes to help individuals and organizations succeed or has committed a career to community service? If so, you may know a potential candidate to be inducted into the Riverside Hall of Fame.

To be eligible for nomination a candidate must have graduated at least 10 years ago. A candidate also may be deceased. A nominee must meet at least three of the following four criteria: community involvement, career success and/or unique contribution, positive role model, leadership in chosen career and/or elsewhere.

Thousands of students have left the halls of ivy and many of them are potential nominees for the Hall of Fame. Put your thinking caps on and consider nominating one of them. Nomination forms are available on the alumni association web site here. Deadline for nominations for each year is January 31. Nominations received after that date will be considered the following year.
